An Appeal for Donations for Volunteers
PFVFR needs your financial support
Providence Forge Volunteer Fire Rescue relies on the community for financial support. Our biggest funds come from our mailings we send out.
Unfortunately, as it stands very little of the tax dollars in New Kent County are assigned to the volunteer component of the fire department. This means volunteers have limited funds to use towards equipment, education, training, certifications, and more. With what little we have we still strive to provide the best service possible to the citizens of New Kent County. This page represents an appeal to the citizens of New Kent County to donate to the volunteer fire department so that we may continue to serve you better and grow. Any amount of donation goes towards our volunteers and is seeded back into the community. Please help us be ready for any emergency.
Donations go towards the following services provided by the volunteer fire department:
- Equipment and Supplies
- Uniforms and Dress
- Classroom or Hands-On Training
- Maintenance of PFVFR owned apparatus
- Maintenance and Appearance of Station #1
- Community Education (CPR, First Aid, etc)
- Community Participation (Parades, Events, Fairs, etc).
There is no obligation to donate however the volunteer fire department needs it’s citizens to support it. PFVFR is a registered 501C Charity Organization and can provide information for your yearly tax return. Please contact us to learn how you can donate. We are happy to hear from you!
